Second World War veterans have criticised as “disgusting” the Government’s refusal to help them travel to France to attend the 65th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

While America and Canada are paying for their veterans to travel to the event, British war heroes are having to stump up the cash themselves.

Thousands of them are hoping to travel to Normandy for the commemoration in June, which for many will be their last.

But the Ministry of Defence has told them that the next time public money will be used for a commemoration will be the 100th anniversary in 2044, when they will all be dead.

Bob Conway, 83, chairman of the Wiltshire branch of the Normandy Veterans’ Association (NVA), said: “I think it’s disgusting. Surely they can do something to help us old boys go over? We are pretty upset about it. We’re all over 80 now and for many this will be the last time.”

He and his comrades have taken to fund-raising in the cold in the middle of Trowbridge, where he lives.

He added: “It’s a struggle to raise all the money we need but it’s just a few thousand pounds. All our comrades from the US and Canada get their expenses paid for by their Governments but ours won’t give us a penny.”

He said it would cost £18,000 for all 30 from the Wiltshire branch to attend.

Some 156,000 British, American and Canadian troops surged on to the beaches of northern France on 30 June 1944, starting the Allied invasion of Normandy. More than a million were involved in the campaign that followed.

But their numbers are dwindling fast.

A spokesman for the MoD said: “The MoD provides funding for the official commemoration of the 25th, 50th, 60th and 100th anniversaries of events of national importance.

“Funding was provided to the Normandy Veterans’ Association to mark the 60th anniversary of the D-Day landings when it was acknowledged that this would be the last commemoration using public money

A marine who had lost both legs in Afghanistan and was fighting the jobsworths at his local council. Who had refused him planning permission for a specially adapted bungalow. Well for once people power won the day this was taken from the face book site supporting Joe’s cause

This joint statement is issued by Mr David Carter and Wealden District Council in relation to the planning application for a bungalow for Marine Joe Townsend.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/sussex/7881581.stm

A scheme has now been agreed in principle which planning officers consider is supportable.

Mr Carter who is Joe’s grandfather will now submit a new application. Mr Carter said “We have had a fruitful discussion and I am optimistic that the scheme will meet Joe’s needs and will receive a fair hearing. I am grateful to the Council for being open to a new approach”.

Councillor Pam Doodes, Leader of Wealden District Council said “We have been anxious to resolve this difficult issue from the start and are glad that a solution has been identified. However, this case has raised a number of deep concerns over national policy and I shall be writing to the Prime Minister urging him to issue further Government guidance on the provision that local authorities make for servicemen and women disabled in the service of their country”.

  Pakistan told us that there was definitely no connection between Pakistan and the Mumbai terrorists. The accusations were just another ploy by enemies of the religion of peace to label Muslims as evil terrorists .

A top Pakistani diplomat has said its investigations into the attacks on Mumbai show they were not planned in either Pakistan or the UK. Pakistan’s high commissioner in Britain, Wajid Shamsul Hasan, told Indian media Islamabad’s own report on the attacks would be released soon. He said: “Pakistani territory was not used so far as the investigators have made their conclusions. It could have been some other place. Not the UK as well. Because these were the two places I was concerned about.” Mr Hasan also criticised India’s delay in handing over evidence, suggesting its dossier could be “fabricated”. Only 2 days ago Isliabad officials made this claim ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Feb. Information provided by India on the Mumbai attacks was not enough to draw conclusions and bring alleged perpetrators to justice, Pakistani officials said.

Okay newsflash this morning Islamabad announced it had arrested 8 suspects including the master mind behind the Mumbai massacre.  What we have just witnessed for all the world to see is the Islamic practice of TAQIYYA. Dhimmitude is commonly recognised as the system used in islamic countries when dealing with the kaffir. The first steps towards dhimmitude have all ready taken root in Britain and are progressing at a steady pace. Sharia law is the keystone to Dhimmitude.  Already we see Sharia law replacing British law and customs. Sharia courts are given authority to deal with Muslim cases in their communities. Halal meat is served in the majority of traditionally  British restaurants and takeaways , many schools prisons and  hospitals have all introduced halal meat. British festivals are either altered or simply cancelled because they conflict with Sharia law. Muslim festivals are recognised and celebrated by the establishment,as Gordan Brown said to muslims Eid should be recognised as being equally important to our society as any other festival. The imposition of dhimmitude is well under way. At the core of dhimmitude is the principle that non believers must not be allowed to criticise any aspect of Islam.

We need look no further than the events of the past week to see dhimmitude in practice. The dhimmi traitors in Whitehall bowed to muslim demands that the dutch MP Greet Wilders be refused entry to the UK. His crime to criticise Islam. That’s it nothing else he didn’t urge his followers to jihad againest British forces. He didn’t ask  for Islam to be banned, he just voiced the concerns that are shared by millions of people in this very country. Churchill was ignored and mocked for years, he was branded a war monger a failed politician. Simalar to what they are saying today about Greet Wilders. We all know what would of happened had Churchill being silenced by those preaching appeasement (dhimmitude). Greet Wilders is the 21st century equivalent of Churchill. ISLAM and the muslim supremacist with their hate filled preachers and belief in an Islamic Reich  are the NAZIS. Yet if successful in their quest will make the holocaust pale into insignificance !

 ‘Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, ‘Common Sense’, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was,since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He Will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn’t always fair; and maybe it was my fault. Common Sense Lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His Health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouth wash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an Aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement .. Common Sense was presented in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust. His wife,Discretion, his daughter, Responsibility, his son, Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights; I Want It Now; Someone Else Is To Blame; I’m A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

 The British National Party lists Law and Order as one of its main priorities.To try and help make our society a safer place we have decide to run a  regular update giving details of  Manchester’s most wanted criminals.  The criminals below are all listed as Manchester’s most wanted on the Crime Stoppers website. What is very worrying about January’s line up. Is the fact that three out of the five most wanted are from ethnic backgrounds.This doe’s not relate to the percentage of Greater Manchester’s  population that is of ethnic origin.

Police want to trace Iftikhar Ahmed in connection with a suspected rape in Hulme, Manchester in 2006. He’s 22 and around 5ft 4in. He has previously lived in Oldham and used to work at a newsagents on Stretford Road in Hulme.

 

  Michael Franks is wanted after he failed to attend court for serious assault charges and witnessintimidation. He has been convicted in his absence of two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, two counts of possession of an offensive weapon, and three counts of witness intimidation. This took place on 17 July 2007. The judge sentenced Franks, again in his absence, to an indeterminate prison sentence, to serve a minimum of four and a half yearsMichael Franks (born 23/11/1956) was last known to live in Brinnington in Stockport. He also goes by the name of Michael Lowe

John Platt is wanted for sex offences against children including rape and attempted rape in Oldham.

He was arrested in May 2004 but jumped bail and has not been seen since. He’s 46 and may have connections in Ireland. Platt was previously featured on Crimewatch in February 2006

 

 

Lawrence Gitongha was found guilty of a sexual assault in Manchester and was sentenced in his absence.

He’s 36, originally from Kenya and has previously worked as a nurse

John Blackstock is wanted for a series of thefts and deceptions up and down the country. He’s believed to have posed as a Royal Marine and a police officer and has no less than 33 aliases. He has connections across England and Scotland and is believed to have a penchant for prestige cars, especially Range Rovers and Audis.He has a Scottish accent and may recently have been in Wiltshire

 

This government have a duty to inform vulnerable members of society of where the greatest risk comes from. A recent study, titled Interracial Violence, produced by well known researcher Mr Tony Shell, has shown that white victims of racist murders are over-represented by a factor of 32 for the time period 2004 to 2007. Yet we hear no mention of this from the establishment media or our government who spend their time trying to convince us that multiculturalism is working. As with any crime once we know the risks we can take steps to keep ourselves out of harms way. Supporting the British National Party is the only option available to combat this threat to our society. Even when informed of the dangers our government still allows wanted murders into our midst. Asian taxi driver tries to rape woman

 Our deepest sympathy to the lady concerned. This is  another example of  how the indigenous population is subject to a growing number of  attacks at the hands of  the  ethnic community. Manchester has in the region of  400 cctv camera’s Seeing as Peter St is one of Manchester’s busiest streets for night life you would of thought they would have a record of this cab picking up passengers illegally. Especially as they are so efficient at catching people dropping chewing gum or litter.

A TAXI driver who tried to rape a woman is being hunted by police. The 27-year-old victim and another woman had flagged down the white or silver minibus taxi in Peter Street, Manchester city centre, after a night out on Sunday, February 8.

After dropping the first woman outside the Church Inn on Rochdale Road, Castleton, he drove on to Middleton.

The driver, who is Asian, in his 30s and of average height and build, attempted to rape his passenger in the Knight Crescent area of Middleton at around 3.30am.

Det Insp Stephen Earnshaw said: “It was a terrifying experience for the victim and it is vital we catch this man.

“I would appeal to any witnesses who saw the women being collected from Peter Street near to the Chicago Rock Cafe, or being dropped off in the Middleton or Castleton areas to come forward immediately.

“It is also important that women who are planning a night out book taxis in advance with a reputable company and, where possible, do not go home on their own.”

It is not known whether the minibus was a licensed taxi, but it was not pre-booked.

Please don’t attack us, UK pleads to Pakistani terrorists

 The  British people have their pride honour and dignity dragged through the gutter by the dhimmi Gordan Brown in his latest capitulation to the Islamist hordes. Starting on Monday at a cost of £400.000  the British government are too run  a number of adverts in Pakistan.

When will the lessons of history be heeded appeasement to  the Hitler achieved nothing apart from making him more confident and determined. There is no surer way of  swelling the ranks of the islamists than this spineless grovelling ! Showing fear and weakness to terrorists will only heighten the zeal of those who are plotting to do us harm.

What an insult to the character of the British people. Who stood alone against and refused to be subdued by the Nazis massed against us in 1940. The same British people who defeated the IRA because they refused to give in to terrorists and again after 7/7  that great British spirit of no surrender was seen to be alive and as strong as ever. Determined not to be defeated by evil whether that be Nazis in 1940 or the Muslim supremacists of the 21st century. Britain needs leadership with a back bone willing to take decisions to combat the threat against its people [posed by terrorists both at home and abroad. NOT A ONE EYED COWARD .

Bet you a pound to a penny

 Brave words i hear you say but wait until you hear the deal . This happens approximately every 3 or 4 yrs . The unelected bureaucrats in Brussels have put forward proposals to protect animals facing slaughter from any unnecessary pain suffering and cruelty. The proposal as always states ” all animals facing slaughter would have to be electrically stunned beforehand “  This is in response to a campaign by the RSPCA  and a number of other groups to ban ritual slaughter, the British National Party as campaigned for an end to this barbaric prat ice for many years. The FAWC  a independent  advisory group to the government on animal welfare have repeatedly called on the government to ban ritual slaughter. The group as carried out numerous studies and states animals slaughtered using either the halal or kosher methods experience drastically higher levels of pain suffering and distress. For those of you who don,t already know both halal and kosher demand that the animal be alive  before some barbarian with a big knife says a blessing and  cuts the animals throat. Leaving the animal to bleed to death slowly animals slaughtered this way can live for up to 2mins often thrashing about on the  floor before death.  Sic kingly barbaric and it as no place in civilised society.

So here’s my bet pound to every penny says it doesn,t get enforced in the UK , or Europe for that matter but i,ll limit my bet to the UK. Here’s why i,m so confident. Firstly our dhimmi leaders have earlier this year authorised another 5000  barbarian halal throat slices to come to our shores. There is no way the 1 eyed idiot would alienate what remains of the desperately needed muslim vote. The large and powerful Jewish lobby would never allow this to happen. As well as all this there’s the continued establishment backed Islamification of Britain. Many of our schools already serve exclusively halal meals without our knowledge ( check and see what your children are eating) many hospitals and prisons  no longer offer a halal option but serve only halal meat even British soldiers are having bully beef replaced with halal alternatives. (upgrading body armour may of being a better investment) Even big business is in on the act (read our page subway off the menu) The giant food chain nestle have started converting their plants to halal Kellogg’s is another group who back halal. Two of the largest supermarkets in the UK asda and tesco both stock halal meat. At the moment there is no legislation  in the UK that specifies meat should be identified as being halal so we don,t even know whether we are financing this cruel barbaric practice. I reckon my bets a good one!

So with the European elections round the corner why don,t you get in touch with your MEP to find out his position on this barbaric practice. Let him know that if he supports ritual slaughter  you will be forced to vote for a party that doe’s care about animal welfare . Pointing out the fact the only party campaigning for a end to this practice is the British National Party. If  like  myself  your an animal lover i hope you do the same as me and refuse to shop at or buy from companies who support ritual slaughter. Over the coming weeks we shall compile a more comprehensive list of companies who couldn,t give a damn about what happens to defenseless animals or give a toss about your feelings about being force fed halal or kosher meat. 

One last important point all bets must be in sterling , i won,t except dollars,rupees, goats, or that other rubbish the euro.
